Octavia Wrap Pattern
This undulated multi-color alpaca wrap is perfect for those warm days that turn brisk when the sun hides away.
The design had modest beginnings… just 4 skeins of Blue Sky Alpacas Melange lounging side-by-side in beautiful abandon. I stared at the yarns for months, pondering, waiting, knowing the right pattern existed somewhere.
Then… inspiration! The Seafoam Pattern! When worked in one color, the pattern shows its inner beauty in subtle waves. What the pattern needed was a new dance, a splash of color, to really highlight its dramatic structure. The Melange said “Pick me! Pick me!” and the rest is history.
Finished wrap is 20" wide x 70" long blocked (15" x 80" relaxed). Pattern includes directions for how to change the finished size.
Materials Needed: 8 skeins Blue Sky Alpacas Melange and size 7 (4.5 mm) 40" long circular needle.
